Each set comes with everything needed to start using the enclosed lesson plan. There are two editions of the Chief Justice set: with Service Learning and without Service Learning. The latter is designed for any school or organization that does not intend to have its people move into the community to do community service work. All other manuals come with service-learning.

Chief Justice

Chief Justice is an educational game designed to give the players an appreciation of the United States Constitution and of our democratic form of government. The game contains 100 critical thinking questions that incorporate today's most important moral and ethical issues. By using persuasive arguments and clear logic, each player must convince a jury of the merits of his or her case and attempt to win enough cases to climb the steps of the Supreme Court to become the Chief Justice. Chief Justice, which has been sold to over 1,700 high schools nationwide and abroad and is used by more than 300,000 students each year, gives your students a compelling reason to explore the Constitution and is a valuable addition to a government or civics class, a character education program, a citizenship program, a speech and debate class, a leadership training program or for a course in service learning.

Sovereign Citizen

The Sovereign Citizen is designed to engage the participants in a variety of discussions on governance based on the U. S. Constitution and contemporary issues of the day and then move the participants into the community to affect positive change.

The purpose of The Sovereign Citizen is to:

  1. Create a forum in which each participant is motivated to better understand the Bill of Rights and the U. S. Constitution in relation to democracy and the role it plays in self-governance.
  2. Provide an opportunity to discover that when truth and error are given a fair chance to compete in the market place of ideas, it is the former and not the latter that We The People can rely on to form a truly democratic nation we can all be proud of.
  3. Provide the participants an opportunity to discover and develop moral values by using critical thinking to engage and challenge each other on the ethical positions they hold on various Constitutional and contemporary issues.
  4. Provide a forum where participants can develop their public speaking and debating skills after extensively researching their topics using the Internet, experts in the field, libraries and community resources.
  5. Provide a forum that teaches ethics and values by using the Bill of Rights and the U. S. Constitution as a moral compass.
  6. Provide an opportunity to develop leadership training by having participants organize and implement service learning projects within their communities, which they will publicize in the local media.
  7. Allow participants to deliberate and vote on "hot button" issues of the day.

Head of State

Head of State is designed to engage participants in understanding the awesome responsibilities of governance resident in the office of president of the United States of America . The participants will experience a simulation in connection with the other branches of government to learn the checks and balances of how our government works.
